Street Art in Zagreb – Murals at the Studentski Centar

There is no trip for me to a new city without exploring the local street art scene. I did not expect to have time to check out the murals in Zagreb. However, when we visited the Studentski Centar (University Student Centre), my heart skipped a beat when I realized that it is actually one of “the” places in Zagreb for street art.
Of course, there were many more spots in Zagreb which hosted murals. But the Studentski Centar is a place showcasing local street art in a very compact space. It is great if you are in the area and if you do not have a lot of time but still want to experience the Croatian street art scene.
The Studentski Centar is also host of this colourful mural by Slaven Lunar, who is one of the pioneers of the Zagrebian street art scene.
Another representative of the who-is-who of the local street art scene is this mural by Lonac.
How to Get There
The Studentski Centar in Zagreb is easily accessible via tram. It is close to Jukiceva station.
Wow what amazing photos! Definitely makes me want to visit and see them for myself 🙂
Thank you so much! The pictures don’t do the real murals justice, it’s really worth going there and seeing them for yourself.
Oh, I didn’t know street art was so popular in Zagreb, but it is so cool! I look finding street art in the cities I visit too 🙂
It is really popular. This is actually just a small part of all the street art I spotted in Zagreb.
I had no idea there was such beautiful street art in Zagreb. Amazing photos and awesome post!

I am street art obsessed, and genuinely plan my travels around street art- such a colourful post, another addition to the bucketlist!
I do the same! I have more street art posts here: Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok
Maybe you’ll find some inspiration for your next trips!
